Buyer Feature: Brittney Lackore

We took a minute to chat with Brittney Lackore – one of our style savvy shoppers.  She let us peak into her latest purchases with superstar seller Kim Shibata.  Brittney fills us in on what she likes, loves and how she plans to reimagine her new Copious finds.

Tell us about your style. 

I try a lot of different styles and I love most looks. I tend to stick with earthy tones and down to earth kind of looks. I lean towards hipster/trendy. It really depends on my mood that day too!

Tell us your story.  What’re you going to do with your new finds?

My husband is in the military and he goes out to sea quite often. When he comes home I plan my wardrobe out weeks in advance from what I’m going to wear when I first get to see him again, to all the little “honeymoons” we take while he’s home.

The aqua floral dress I’m saving for our favorite hole in the wall by the beach.  I’m not sure about the shirt yet, but I do know in my head it looks awesome even at the grocery store with just a pair of shorts.

Tell us about Kim Shibata’s style.

I love her style!

I really dig vintage inspired clothing, earthy/darker tones, urban, trendy, hipster looks. I notice we tend to like some of the same items on Copious often, these items range from vintage purses to flowy, perfect-for-the-beach dresses.

I bought an aqua floral three quarter dress and her purple and maroon geo ruffle top. I thought the dress was really cute, looked comfortable and not too revealing. It’s kind of rare that I wear dresses, so when I do I try to go for very casual styles that can be easily played up or down. 

 

What attracted your to Kim Shibata’s listings?

Definitely the pictures and descriptions, I love that she models the clothes on people in her listings, it gives me a real idea of what something is actually going to look like on me.

I really like that she’s honest in her listings, stating how often the item has been worn and very open about answering any questions I may have about the items. I will continue to buy from her listings and definitely recommend them to people I know, also because what I have received was in great condition and the shipping was surprisingly fast. 

So, why Copious?

I use Copious for shopping mostly, but I suppose it does cross the line of a guilty pleasure when I’m browsing through clothes, health/beauty, purses and shoes at 3AM with no intentions of sleeping anytime soon!

Thanks to Copious I can have new little things to wear here and there that are affordable and from people I can trust. Also, I know I can trust Copious because I have had trouble with a seller before and they were extremely quick on canceling my order for me, replacing my credits and giving me a refund.
